Rev. John J. Pajak

My ministry started as in 2009 as a part time local pastor at Redford New Beginnings, then in 2015, Algonac Trinity, and since 2020, at New Hudson UMC, where I serve full time. My secular employment was with Palace Sports & Entertainment and the Detroit Pistons. I spent 31 years as the Director of Housekeeping for them. I often commented that if cleanliness is next to Godliness, I ought to be in good shape.

During these years, we began some new ministries: Holy Hallways ( a biblically themed trick or treating event), Midwinter VBS, and here at New Hudson, we worked with the township to turn our front lawn into Inspiration Park. We’ve hosted concerts, Christmas events (the community Christmas tree is on our property), fitness events and outside worship services.

I would like to thank all of those who helped, advised and took some risks with me. Know that it was all to bring the message of Jesus to a world that so badly needs to hear it. In particular, I want to thank my family and wife Connie for their sacrifices along the way.
